Apple and Sage Turkey Meatballs

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Ground turkey lean
  • 1 cup Apple peeled and finely grated
  • 2 tbsp Fresh sage finely chopped
  • ½ cup Breadcrumbs plain or whole wheat
  • 1 large Egg lightly beaten
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tsp Salt adjust to taste
  • ½ tsp Black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil for brushing or drizzling

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Add ground turkey to a large mixing bowl.
  4. Stir in grated apple, chopped sage, breadcrumbs, egg, and garlic.
  5. Season with salt and black pepper and mix gently until combined.
  6. Shape the mixture into evenly sized meatballs.
  7. Place meatballs on the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Brush or drizzle meatballs lightly with olive oil.
  9. Bake for 18–20 minutes until cooked through.
  10. Remove from oven and rest briefly before serving.
