Ingredients
  

  • 6 pieces Chicken thighs bone-in, skin-on
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil or melted butter
  • 1 tsp Paprika smoked or regular
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder not garlic salt
  • 1 tsp Onion powder optional
  • ½ tsp Salt to taste
  • ½ tsp Black pepper to taste
  • ½ tsp Dried thyme or rosemary
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice fresh

Equipment

  • 1 Baking dish Oven-safe
  • 1 Mixing bowl For seasoning
  • 1 Measuring spoons Optional
  • 1 Tongs For handling chicken
  • 1 Aluminum foil Optional, for easy cleanup

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
  3. Place chicken in a mixing bowl or baking dish.
  4. Drizzle olive oil over the chicken thighs.
  5. Sprinkle paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and thyme evenly.
  6. Rub seasoning all over the chicken.
  7. Arrange chicken thighs skin-side up in the baking dish.
  8. Bake uncovered for 40 minutes until skin is crispy and chicken is cooked through.
  9. Remove from oven and drizzle with lemon juice.
  10. Let chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.

  • Boneless thighs can be used; reduce cooking time by 10 minutes.
