​Beef and Cabbage Stir Fry

Ingredients
  

  • 300 g Beef thinly sliced
  • 3 cups Cabbage shredded
  • 1 tbsp Soy sauce low sodium
  • 1 tbsp Oyster sauce optional
  • 1 tsp Cornstarch for marinating
  • 2 tbsp Oil vegetable or sesame
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tsp Ginger grated
  • ½ tsp Black pepper to taste
  • ½ tsp Salt adjust as needed
  • 2 tbsp Spring onions chopped, for garnish

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, mix sliced beef with soy sauce and cornstarch.
  2. Let the beef marinate for 10 minutes.
  3. Heat oil in a wok or large pan over high heat.
  4. Add garlic and ginger and stir-fry briefly until fragrant.
  5. Add marinated beef and cook until browned.
  6. Add shredded cabbage and stir-fry for 3–4 minutes.
  7. Stir in oyster sauce, salt, and black pepper.
  8. Toss everything well and cook until cabbage is slightly tender but still crisp.
  9. Remove from heat and garnish with spring onions.
  10. Serve hot with rice or noodles.
