Cheesy Taco Sticks Recipe

Cheesy taco sticks filled with seasoned meat and melted cheese, wrapped in soft dough and baked until golden. These fun, handheld snacks are perfect for parties, game nights, or quick dinners.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Ground beef lean
  • 1 tbsp Taco seasoning store-bought or homemade
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese shredded
  • ½ cup Mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1 can Refrigerated pizza dough or crescent dough
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil for cooking
  • 1 tbsp Butter melted, for brushing
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder optional
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley chopped, garnish

Equipment

  • 1 Baking sheet Lined with parchment
  • 1 Skillet For cooking filling
  • 1 Mixing bowl Medium
  • 1 Spoon For filling
  • 1 Knife For cutting dough

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in taco seasoning and cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Remove beef from heat and let cool slightly.
  6. Roll out pizza dough and cut into equal strips.
  7. Place seasoned beef and cheeses onto each strip.
  8. Roll dough around filling to form sticks.
  9. Place sticks seam-side down on baking sheet.
  10. Brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle garlic powder.
  11. Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown.
  12. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
