Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Chicken breast boneless, cubed
  • ½ cup Yogurt plain
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice fresh
  • 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste homemade or store-bought
  • 1 tsp Garam masala ground
  • 1 tsp Paprika or Kashmiri chili
  • ½ tsp Turmeric powder ground
  • 2 tbsp Cooking oil vegetable or canola
  • 1 cup Onion finely chopped
  • 1 cup Tomato puree fresh or canned
  • ½ cup Heavy cream room temperature
  • 1 tsp Cumin powder ground
  • ½ tsp Salt adjust to taste
  • 2 tbsp Fresh cilantro chopped, garnish

Equipment

  • 1 Large mixing bowl
  • 1 Large pan or skillet
  • 1 Wooden spoon
  • 1 Cutting board
  • 1 Knife
  • 1 Measuring spoons

Method
 

  1. Combine chicken, yogurt, lemon juice, ginger garlic paste, and spices in a bowl.
  2. Mix well and marinate the chicken for at least 1 hour.
  3. Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  4. Add chopped onion and sauté until golden brown.
  5. Stir in tomato puree and cook until oil separates.
  6. Add marinated chicken and cook until chicken is sealed.
  7. Reduce heat and simmer until chicken is fully cooked.
  8. Pour in heavy cream and mix gently.
  9. Simmer for 5 minutes until sauce thickens.
  10. Garnish with fresh cilantro and remove from heat.
