Classic Chicken Salad Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups Cooked chicken shredded or diced
  • ½ cup Mayonnaise full-fat or light
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice fresh
  • 1 cup Celery finely chopped
  • ¼ cup Red onion finely chopped
  • ½ tsp Salt to taste
  • ½ tsp Black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp Fresh parsley chopped
  • ½ cup Grapes halved, optional

Equipment

  • 1 Large mixing bowl
  • 1 Cutting board
  • 1 Knife
  • 1 Spoon or spatula
  • 1 Measuring cups

Method
 

  1. Add cooked chicken to a large mixing bowl.
  2. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise and lemon juice.
  3. Pour dressing over the chicken and mix well.
  4. Add chopped celery, red onion, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Stir until all ingredients are evenly coated.
  6. Fold in grapes if using.
  7. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
  8. Cover and chill for 30 minutes before serving.
