Crock Pot Beef Queso Dip

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Ground beef lean
  • 1 tbsp Taco seasoning store-bought or homemade
  • 16 oz Velveeta cheese cubed
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 can Diced tomatoes with green chilies drained
  • ½ cup Milk for creamier texture
  • 1 small Onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp Jalapeños optional, sliced
  • 1 bag Tortilla chips for serving

Method
 

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the ground beef until browned.
  2. Drain excess grease from the cooked beef.
  3. Stir taco seasoning into the beef and mix well.
  4. Add Velveeta cheese, cheddar cheese, diced tomatoes, milk, onion, and garlic to the Crock Pot.
  5. Add the cooked beef mixture into the slow cooker.
  6. Cover and cook on low heat for 1½ to 2 hours.
  7. Stir occasionally until the cheese is fully melted and smooth.
  8. Add jalapeños if desired for extra spice.
  9. Serve warm with tortilla chips.
