Ingredients
  

  • 4 pieces Chicken breasts boneless, skinless
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil for light sauté
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 cup Chicken broth low sodium preferred
  • 1 cup Heavy cream for creamy sauce
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • ½ cup Sun-dried tomatoes chopped
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning dried herb blend
  • ½ tsp Red pepper flakes optional for heat
  • ½ tsp Salt to taste
  • ½ tsp Black pepper freshly ground
  • 2 tbsp Fresh basil chopped, for garnish

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Lightly grease the crock pot with olive oil.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  3. Add minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper over the chicken.
  4. Pour chicken broth and heavy cream into the crock pot.
  5. Add chopped sun-dried tomatoes and sprinkle parmesan cheese on top.
  6. Cover and cook on low for about 4 hours until the chicken is tender.
  7. Stir the sauce gently to combine all flavors.
  8. Taste the sauce and adjust seasoning if needed.
  9. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
