Ingredients
  

  • 2 slices Bread sourdough or whole grain
  • 2 tbsp Ricotta cheese fresh, creamy
  • 2 large Eggs room temperature
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil or butter
  • ¼ tsp Salt to taste
  • ¼ tsp Black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 tsp Chili flakes optional
  • 1 tbsp Fresh herbs parsley or basil, chopped

  • 1 Frying pan
  • 1 Toaster or pan
  • 1 Spatula
  • 1 Knife
  • 1 Small bowl

Method
 

  1. Toast the bread slices until golden and crisp.
  2. Spread ricotta cheese evenly over each toast slice.
  3. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  4. Crack eggs into the pan and fry to desired doneness.
  5. Season eggs with salt and black pepper.
  6. Place fried eggs on top of ricotta-covered toast.
  7. Sprinkle chili flakes and fresh herbs over the top.
  8. Serve immediately while warm.
