Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese finely grated
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour sifted
  • 4 tbsp Butter cold and cubed
  • ½ tsp Salt adjust to taste
  • 2 –3 tbsp Cold water as needed to form dough
  • ½ tsp Paprika optional, for flavor

  • 1 Rolling Pin
  • 1 Baking tray
  • 1 Parchment paper
  • 1 Knife or cutter

Method
 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine grated cheddar cheese and flour.
  2. Add cold butter and mix until crumbly texture forms.
  3. Add salt and paprika, then mix well.
  4. Gradually add cold water and form a smooth dough.
  5. Wrap the dough and chill for 20 minutes.
  6. Roll out the dough into a thin sheet on a floured surface.
  7. Cut into small square or desired cracker shapes.
  8. Place crackers on a lined baking tray.
  9. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 10–12 minutes.
  10. Let cool completely before serving for crisp texture.
