Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Unsalted butter melted
  • cups Granulated sugar for sweetness
  • 3 large Eggs room temperature
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract pure vanilla preferred
  • ¾ cup Cocoa powder unsweetened
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour sifted
  • ½ tsp Salt balances sweetness
  • 1 cup Chocolate chips semi-sweet
  • ½ cup Heavy cream for ganache
  • ¼ cup Candy-coated chocolate chips for topping

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk melted butter and sugar until combined.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla extract and mix until smooth.
  4. Stir in cocoa powder, flour, and salt until just combined.
  5. Fold in semi-sweet chocolate chips evenly into the batter.
  6. Pour batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
  7. Bake for 25–28 minutes until the center is set.
  8. Allow brownies to cool completely on a wire rack.
  9. Heat heavy cream in a saucepan until warm but not boiling.
  10. Pour warm cream over chocolate chips and stir until smooth ganache forms.
  11. Spread chocolate ganache evenly over cooled brownies.
  12. Sprinkle candy-coated chocolate chips on top.
  13. Chill brownies for 30–45 minutes before slicing and serving.
