Parmesan Crusted Chicken Recipe

Crispy parmesan crusted chicken made with tender chicken breasts, cheesy coating, and simple seasonings. This easy baked or pan-fried chicken is perfect for a quick, flavorful dinner.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 large Chicken breasts boneless, skinless
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese finely grated
  • ½ cup Breadcrumbs panko preferred
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder optional
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning dried
  • ½ tsp Black pepper to taste
  • ½ tsp Salt to taste
  • 1 large Egg beaten
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil for frying or brushing
  • 1 tbsp Fresh parsley chopped, garnish

Method
 

  1. Slice chicken breasts horizontally to make thinner cutlets.
  2. In a bowl, mix parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Dip each chicken cutlet into beaten egg.
  4. Coat chicken evenly with the parmesan breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  6. Cook chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
  7. Transfer to a plate and let rest for 5 minutes.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
