Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Ground beef 80/20 lean
  • 1 tsp Salt to taste
  • ½ tsp Black pepper to taste
  • 4 pcs Burger buns sliced
  • ½ cup Pizza sauce store-bought or homemade
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese shredded
  • ½ cup Pepperoni slices optional
  • ¼ cup Red onion thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup Bell peppers sliced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat a skillet or grill pan over medium heat.
  2. Season ground beef with salt and black pepper.
  3. Form the beef into 4 equal patties.
  4. Cook patties for 4–5 minutes per side until fully cooked.
  5. Spoon pizza sauce over each cooked patty.
  6. Top with mozzarella cheese and pepperoni slices.
  7. Cover the pan and cook until cheese melts.
  8. Lightly toast burger buns if desired.
  9. Place pizza-style patties onto buns.
  10. Add onions, bell peppers, and sprinkle Italian seasoning.
  11. Serve hot with your favorite sides.
