Spinach and Cheese Squares

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Fresh spinach chopped
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese shredded
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 cup Milk room temperature
  • 2 pcs Eggs beaten
  • ½ cup Flour all-purpose
  • 1 tsp Baking powder leveled
  • ½ tsp Salt to taste
  • ½ tsp Black pepper freshly ground
  • 2 tbsp Butter melted

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, and melted butter.
  3. Add flour and baking powder, mixing until smooth.
  4. Stir in chopped spinach, cheddar cheese, and Parmesan cheese.
  5. Season with salt and black pepper.
  6. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes or until the top is golden and set.
  8. Remove from oven and let it cool slightly.
  9. Cut into squares and serve warm.

  • You can use frozen spinach (thawed and drained) instead of fresh.
  • Add chili flakes for a spicy twist.
