Steak Queso Rice Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Cooked rice warm, fluffy
  • 250 g Steak thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil or vegetable oil
  • 1 cup Onion sliced
  • 1 tsp Garlic minced
  • 1 tsp Chili powder optional, for spice
  • ½ tsp Salt to taste
  • ½ tsp Black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 cup Queso cheese sauce store-bought or homemade
  • ½ cup Bell peppers sliced
  • 2 tbsp Fresh cilantro chopped, for garnish

Equipment

  • 1 Large skillet
  • 1 Saucepan
  • 1 Cutting board
  • 1 Knife
  • 1 Spatula

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add sliced steak and cook until browned and cooked through.
  3. Remove steak from skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, sauté onions, bell peppers, and garlic until soft.
  5. Return the cooked steak to the skillet and mix well.
  6. Season with salt, black pepper, and chili powder.
  7. Add cooked rice and stir to combine evenly.
  8. Pour queso cheese sauce over the mixture and stir until creamy.
  9. Cook for 2–3 minutes until heated through.
  10. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot.
